Below is a list of organizations that we feel embody the consumer advocate. They are here to serve our community and as such Green Power Systems is continuously working to hold ourselves accountable to their fine example and standards. These organizations are dedicated to bringing businesses and consumers together to take action and make a difference. They focus on a myriad of progressive agendas that empowers the local market by creating a unifying voice that will advocate on issues important to our community.

North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, is a volunteer board of renewable energy stakeholder representatives that includes representatives of the solar industry, NABCEP certificates, renewable energy organizations, state policy makers, educational institutions, and the trades.

American Solar Energy Society, Established in 1954, ASES is a nonprofit that is the nation’s leading association of solar professionals & advocates. Our mission is to inspire an era of energy innovation and speed the transition to a sustainable energy economy. We advance education, research and policy

Contractors State Licensing Board, protects consumers by regulating the construction industry through policies that promote the health, safety and general welfare of the public in matters relating to construction.

Better Business Bureau, pledge to meet reliability standards for ethical business practices and to resolve complaints using the BBB’s dispute resolution program or a similar program.

San Diego Chamber of Commerce, acclaimed as a leader and catalyst in facilitating value for its members by optimizing their competitive viability in the regional, national, and global marketplaces

Utility Consumers Action Network, Founded in 1984 , UCAN was formed to protect consumers from utility abuse. Since that time, UCAN’s not-for-profit legal team has saved consumers billions of dollars in unfair utility rate hikes. UCAN aggressively intervenes on behalf of its members with utility and other disputes.

The Rahus Institute, is a 501c3 non-profit, research and educational organization with a focus on resource efficiency. The primary goal of The Rahus Institute is to accelerate the implementation of resource efficient technologies and practices through research, development, demonstration, education and policy change.

The CCSE, is here to foster public policies and provide programs, services, information and forums that facilitate the adoption of clean, reliable, sustainable, and efficient energy technologies and practices.

National Roofing Contractors Associations, provides a wide range of information and services to help homeowners and building owners make informed decisions about replacing and maintaining their roof systems.

San Diego Roofing Contractors Association, is a San Diego based roofing contractors association serving SD for over 40 years.  They assist property owners with their roofing needs to include new, re-roofing or repair work.   And provides training and education to its contractor and industry members.

City of Oceanside – Utilities Commission, The Utilities Commission considers and makes recommendations to the City Council on policies pertaining to municipal water facilities, sewer facilities and drainage facilities.
